Pas lirimit të të gjitha familjeve të ngujuara në rrethet Dibër e Mirditë, Komiteti i Pajtimit Mbarëkombëtar ka realizuar pajtimin dhe lirimin e familjeve në hasmëri në zonat më të thella tradicionale, në veri të Shqipërisë. Më datën 22 Maj 2003 përfundoi pajtimi dhe lirimi i familjeve të ngujuara të zonës së Iballës dhe Nikaj- Merturit në rrethet PUKË e TROPOJË. Me këtë rast, me datën 22 Maj 2003, në Logun e Gështenjave, përballë Kishës së Iballës, u organizua takimi me përfaqësuesit e familjeve dhe fshatrave të Nikaj-Merturit, Iballës dhe Rrafshit të Dugagjinit, ku u celebrua pajtimi i familjeve të fundit. Lirimi pa kushte i grave dhe fëmijëve të ngujuar u bë nën kujdesin e znj. Rubena Moisiu, bashkshorteve të prijësave tradicionalë, mësuesve dhe Forumit të Gruas së Komitetit të Pajtimit Mbarëkombëtar. Aktiviteti u financua nga Ambasada e Mbretërisë së Norvegjisë, nën kujdesin e shkëlqesisë së Tij, Z. Lars S. Valvante, Ambasador i Mbretërisë së Norvegjisë në Shqipëri.

After setting free of all the fastening families in the districts of Dibra and Mirdita, the Committee of Nationwide Reconciliation has realized the reconciliation and setting free of the families in enmity in the most traditional and rural areas, in north of Albania. On May 22, 2003 finished the reconciliation and liberation of the fastening families in Iballa and Nikaj-Mertur of the districts of Puka and Tropoja. In that case, on May 22, 2003, in Chestnut Lawn, in front of the Iballa’s Church, was organized a meeting with representatives of the families and villages of Nikaj-Mertur, Iballa, Dukagjin Tableland and most problematic districts of North of Albania; where was celebrated the reconciliation of the last families and was declared the initiative. Liberation without conditions of the fastening women and children was performed under the care of the reconciliation missionaries, the wives of traditional chieftains, Women Forum of the Committee of Nationwide Reconciliation, leaders of the Albanian Feminist Movement against the violence, the exploitation and masculinist ruling. The activity was financed by the embassy of Royal Norwegian, under the care of His excellency Mr. Lars S. Valvante, Ambassador of Royal Nrwegian in Albania.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Royal Norway has supported the project TO PREVENT KILLINGS ORIGINATED BY REVENGE AND BLOOD FEUD AND RESPECTABILITY OF LEGAL STATE'S AUTHORITY with 300000 NOK, by realizing 650 families in enmity in South of Albania to accept solving the conflicts by legal ways.
The Committee of Nationwide Reconciliation is grateful to the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Royal Norway and hopes that with the further cooperation with this ministry we will realize the reconciliation of all the over mentioned families.
